The MPs toured the college, meeting students, tutors and support staff across different curriculum areas including the outstanding SEND provision and Higher Education IT suite – the first in-person visit of this kind since the Covid-19 pandemic.
Louie French MP said: "London South East Colleges Bexley is so important. You've got the facilities here to give people the chance to retrain and develop the skills that they are going to need for the ever-changing workforce."
Dr Sam Parrett CBE said: "As we emerge from the pandemic, it's more important than ever for us to work together as a community to meet the needs of local residents and businesses."
